There is a whiteboard attached to the fence on Court 8 with multiple boxes. This is where you sign up:
1. Signing Up:
• One player from the foursome should write the time and the names of all members of their foursome in the next available box on the sign-up board.
• All members of the foursome need to be present before your group can sign up.
2. Court Assignment:
• When a court becomes available, the foursome listed in the next box will take that court.
• Write the assigned court number in the upper right corner of the box and cross out the box to indicate it's in play.
3. Game Play:
• Games are played to 11 points, win by 2.
• Please keep warm-up time brief, especially when others are waiting.
4. Post-Game Procedure:
• After your game, if you wish to continue playing, repeat the sign-up process.
5. Court etiquette:
• Be considerate when going through a court with a game in progress. Go through court 9 if playing on court 13 since this will cause fewer interruptions.
• Make sure you have all 4 players before proceeding through a court with a game in progress and wait until there is a break in the action.
• If you are the next group to play and you’re the first name in the square, make sure your group is ready and watch for the next available court.
• After finishing your game, if there are no open courts, please leave the court promptly in consideration of other players.
• On the upper courts, when drop-in play commences, foursomes may finish their game as long as there is at least one unused court available for drop-in. If there are no unused courts, they need to vacate their court promptly at 8:00 am during the June-September period and 9:00 am during the October-May period.
